Red Sea Media have released the US poster for Synevir 3D, which is the first Russian-language flick to come out of the Ukraine. Hopefully I will have a trailer to share with you soon. In the meantime, read on for more details about the film.

Los Angeles, CA (October 29, 2012) –Red Sea Media releases the poster art for one of its many upcoming horror titles,  Alexander Alyoshechkin’s  ‘Synevir 3D,’ an eerie film being coined “the Ukrainian Big Foot,” set in a historical location.  Lake Synevir, a famous lake in the Carpathian mountains of Ukraine, is known for its rich history throughout hundreds of years as a place of mystical, unexplained events.  The film follows a group of skeptical students who decide to disregard the stories of strange creatures around the famous lake, and spend the weekend there.  They shouldn’t have.

The film marks the highly anticipated directorial debut for Alyoshechkin, who also wrote the screenplay, and stars Sergei Romanyuk, E. Morozov and Igor Slavinsky.  The film is rumored for an early 2013 release, exact date to be announced soon, along with a trailer and first stills.
