RIP Tony Scott

As is so often the case with the social media sites, you read "news" and you aren't sure whether it's true or not. Last night I, along with many others, read the news that director Tony Scott had taken his own life. It couldn't be true, could it? Alas, it is and the world has lost a director of wonderfully entertaining movies; a Brit, who along with his brother Ridley, had become a mainstay in the Hollywood system. Whilst no one likes to deal in rumors, especially not in a situation like this, it has come to light that Tony apparently had inoperable brain cancer. A tragic end to the life and career of a terrific director.

Filthy Review - 'Hell'

Hell (2011)

Review by Jude Felton

Creator of blockbusters aplenty, some better than others, Roland Emmerich is the Executive Producer of this fine German movie, although whether or not that is a good selling point is completely open to debate though. What is for sure though is that Hell is a very worthy addition to the post-apocalyptic film genre.
