The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: 40th Anniversary Blu-ray release details!

One of the most enduring, terrifying and downright fantastic horror films ever made will see a brand new 40th anniversary Blu-ray, DVD, Collector's Edition and Black Maria Limited Edition Boxset release on September 16th. This is strangely fitting news, and tribute, to the iconic actress Marilyn Burns, who sadly passed away this week. She will be missed.

The 40th Anniversary release, which features an all new 4K scan and 7.1 Audio, will come with an amazing array of extras, and will see a limited edition 'Black Maria' Limited Edition Boxset. Full details, including a pic of the boxset, can be found below.

On September 30th it will hit VOD, worldwide, via Devolver (with Indiecan handling the Canadian release), with a Canadian Blu-ray/DVD release on the same day. The following week, October 6th, will see the festival hit move south to the States.

Award-winning Independent Horror movie 'Pieces of Talent' on DVD and VHS now!

There's a real, positive, buzz surrounding independent horror right now. Sure, it's always been there to a certain degree, but not quite in the positive way that, for the most part, it is now. This is due, of course, to the quality of films that are getting released, but also in no small part due to the positive word of mouth that accompanies so many of these film. One such movie is director Joe Stauffer's Pieces of Talent; a film that I have heard nothing but good things about.

Interview - 'Gnosis of the Witch'

Gnosis of the Witch are without doubt one of my favorite bands right now. As mysterious as their name, and EP titles, suggest, they play an incredibly beautiful strain of raw atmospheric black metal. The two members are equally mysterious in identity, but we did manage to track down one of them, Niðafjöll, for an interview, which was conducted by the intrepid Trevor Proctor. Read on my filthy friends, read on.
