Unaussprechlichen Kulten is a death metal band from Santiago Chile which has been active since 1999 although vocalist and guitarist Joseph Curwen is the only remaining original member with the rest of the band consisting of Butcher of Christ who joined in 2004 on drums, Nyarlathotep on guitars and Atomizer Pig on bass; both of whom joined the band in 2010.

Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Cannibal is the fourth album from a band that likes to mix up their sound; judging from this album, anyway. This is my first exposure to the band, and I have to say that I like what I hear. Some albums just hit that spot, and this is one of them.

It’s sequels all the way, this weekend, with varying degrees of quality and maybe, more importantly, pure entertainment value. You could argue that none of them are necessary, although that could be said of most sequels, yet I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to at least two of those covered below.
