Silent House (2012) - New Trailer

Heading to theaters on March 9th is the remake, reimagining, redux...of the Uruguayan flick La Casa Muda. Probably most famous for the fact it takes place over one continuous shot, the remake follows tack. It's directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau (Open Water), and stars Elizabeth Olsen, of Martha Marcy May Marlene.

SILENT HOUSE is a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family's secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house. Directed by filmmaking duo Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, SILENT HOUSE uses meticulous camera choreography  to take the audience on a tension-filled, real time journey, experienced in a single uninterrupted shot.

Below you can check out the new trailer, as well as the movie's Official Site and Facebook page.

Rape Zombie - Cumming Soon

Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl was a blast, in fact why didn't it feature on my years end list?, you can check out my review here. Now co-director Naoyuki Tomomatsu is back with the charmingly titled Rape Zombie: Lust of the Dead, which is set to debut in its native Japan on March 3rd.

The plot revolves around an attack on Tokyo which turns the radiated victims into re-animated sex-crazed monsters!  The movie stars AV starlet Arisu Ozawa, Asami, who starred in The Machine Girl and Robogeisha, as well as Yui Aikawa, Saya Kobayasi, and Takeshi Nakazawa.
