The self-professed Zomedy, Deadheads is finally set to see its DVD release here in the U.S. Freestyle releasing will be unleashing the movie, which is directed by The Pierce Brothers (Brett and Drew T.), on March 6th. Included in the extras should be an audio commentary from the Directors, although I will post more news as I get it. No plans, as yet, for a Blu-ray release, which I find a little annoying. Hopefully this will change though.
Deadheads played the Toronto After Dark Film Festival last year and has just seen a DVD release back in the UK, it came out there in January I believe, so it is long overdue for its domestic release. Personally I cannot wait!
Two inexplicably coherent zombies awake amidst a zombie attack and decide to take a road trip to find the one's lost love, unaware they are being chased by the agents of a ruthless company with it's own agenda.
