Filthy Giveaway - 'Flu/Fever' Audiobooks - Closed

We do like ourselves a good, tasty giveaway here at the Lair, and this one in particular is a cracker! To coincide with Zombie Awareness Month we have copies of both Flu and Fever, by Lair contributor and all around diamond geezer Wayne Simmons, on audiobook to giveaway courtesy of the fine folk at Tantor Media. I've read both novels, and they are an absolute blinding read, so they are highly recommended. Now you'll get the chance to turn the lights out, slap these bad boys on and scare yourself shitless with the novels in audio form.

Flu

There's a nasty flu going round. An epidemic, they call it. The posters say to cover your mouth when you sneeze, and throw away the tissue. But such simple measures won't stop this flu. Because when you catch the flu, armed police come and lock you in your house to die alone. When you catch this flu, it kills you in days. And when you catch this flu, two hours after it's killed you, your eyelids snap open again . . . Flu is a pacey, terrifying, frighteningly real zombie horror story.

Fever

A deadly strain of flu has mysteriously mutated, causing the deaths of millions throughout Ireland and beyond. But the infected don't stay dead for long, rising up to become flesh-eating monsters.

In a quarantined lab just outside Belfast, lab worker Ellis and security guard Abe fight their way through corridors of the living dead, determined to expose a gruesome truth.

Aging conspiracy theorist Tom wracks his brain to figure out what went wrong.

Meanwhile, a young child and her two unlikely wards find themselves in the middle of a cat and mouse game involving the remains of the military, a covert government department, and the ever increasing throng of dead.

The fate of humanity lies in their hands.

So, to get your grubby fingers on a copy of both the Flu and Fever audiobook, all you need to do is send an email to judefelton@hotmail.com, with "You give me Fever" in the title. Please include your name and mailing address, (because we're good but we ain't psychic) and we will draw one lucky winner on May 31st. Good luck my friends and keep your eyes open for symptoms....
