'The Bunny Game' demands you Obey - New Poster and Blu-ray/DVD release date

Back in April the first teaser poster for Adam Rehmeier's controversial The Bunny Game debuted (you can see that poster here). Now, as you can see, the second teaser poster has surfaced, entitled Obey, and it looks suitably sinister to my eyes. The film which has been banned in the UK will finally see its long overdue US release on July 17th, when it will hit DVD and Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.

(New York, NY -   May 24, 2012) Autonomy Pictures presents the SECOND of four teaser posters for the upcoming US release of Adam Rehmeier¹s relentless horror film THE BUNNY GAME. The unflinching indie film, banned in England, will see a Blu-ray/DVD combo and singular DVD release on July 17, 2012.  Disc extras, limited theatrical dates (in theaters brave enough to screen it) and more teaser posters are forthcoming. Keep up-to-date with our official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/autonomypictures.

Banned in the UK and partially inspired by a real-life experience of star Rodleen Getsic, THE BUNNY GAME is an unflinching descent into torment and madness. Junkie hooker Sylvia Grey (Gestic in a brave, award-winning performance) turns the wrong trick in demented trucker JR (Jeff Renfro). After knocking her out cold and taking her to a desolate place where no one can hear her cries, JR subjects Sylvia to a series of increasingly twisted, sadistic “games”. But will she survive the ultimate test when she wakes up with her head sealed in a white leather bunny mask?

Adam Rehmeier directs with a fearless eye, pushing the boundaries of on-screen mayhem to the extreme. Controversy has surrounded THE BUNNY GAME since it premiered to festival audiences around the world by delivering a terrifying experience that once seen is impossible to forget…
