All Hail The King

HBO's new show Game of Thrones, based on the book by George R R Martin, may only be a few episodes in, but it is already shaping up to be a quite excellent show. Crammed full of sex, violence and a labyrinthine plotline it is making Sunday nights something to look forward to. Whereas AMC's The Killing is just ambling along, and to tell the truth starting to bore me, Game of Thrones is just getting better and better. Great cast, which includes Sean Bean and Mark Addy, and a story that will suck you in and keep you in its grip, I can't recommend this enough.

Synopsis
Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.

It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and
honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones
